About John Leech

I'm a shy retiring type who doesn't like to be seen in public.

Photography has featured in my life for as long as I can remember (so at least since a week last Wednesday). It was a key element of my art training and graphics degree. Having worked in graphic design since the year the Apple Mac was launched, I am now shooting portraits and weddings as well as pursuing a broader range of photographic interests, from the picturesque to the abstract - with a hint of surreal when it suits!

Composition is very important in all my work - whether it is a family snapshot or a commissioned assignment. I also like atmospheric and moody interpretations, most of my more personal work being black and white.
