Formal studio style portrait taken in a home setup.

I'm sure most visitors to my pages will be familiar with Ian Bramham's photography Ian Bramham. I've followed his emerging talent since he first bought a DSLR - not that his talent took long to emerge. I'm sure any viewers who have not seen his work will appreciate this link.

wonderfully taken, what is your setup like?

@Rags: Thanks - a softbox to my left angled between us rather than too direct, fairly level to her head, then a brolly as high as pos to the right to get some background light. Not a lot of working space, the back wall is very close.

Another great one John...it looks a lot better here than on Flickr!

@Ian Bramham: Thanks Ian. I think the light grey site background and the fact that it centres the image on the screen both work very well on here.

I've got a frustrating prob on here at present. After commenting on your image as an outside visitor before starting an account of my own I don't seem to be able to comment on anyone's images with my new identity. The only way I can think of resetting this is to clear all my browser settings - which would then mess up all kinds of accounts in other locations.

Ah, just thought of something. I'll log into aminus3 from a separate browser to side step the ID thing. Firefox will forget the settings on here after a while, at which point I'll be able to switch back! Not ideal, but worthwhile.
