MoonscapePosted by John Leech (Grange-over-Sands, United Kingdom) on 1 May 2009 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. A friend phoned 'have you been down on the beach recently?' Nope, I used to go down there almost daily, but spartina grass replaced the sand. Now the tide is fighting back. Its such a different world down there, I could have spend the full day photographing the abstract landscapes and details. I'm sure most visitors to my pages will be familiar with Ian Bramham's photography Ian Bramham. I've followed his emerging talent since he first bought a DSLR - not that his talent took long to emerge. I'm sure any viewers who have not seen his work will appreciate this link.

Ian Bramham from Manchester, United KingdomGreat abstract John!...the frame edges can't have been easy to deal with. I love the texture and tones and the pattern of holes works well. 1 May 2009 6:49am @Ian Bramham: I'd noticed this mottled pattern left by drying foam bubbles earlier on the walk. They were too patchy and difficult to make anything work - but with a beach this big there's always going to be another chance! ordinaryimages from Kentucky Bluegrass, United StatesTime well spent !!! best...jerry 1 May 2009 9:00pm |
