Brixham churchPosted by John Leech (Grange-over-Sands, United Kingdom) on 2 June 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio. I'm sure most visitors to my pages will be familiar with Ian Bramham's photography Ian Bramham. I've followed his emerging talent since he first bought a DSLR - not that his talent took long to emerge. I'm sure any viewers who have not seen his work will appreciate this link.

Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomI like the strong contrast, black blacks and composition which highlight the light reflecting off the water. I also like the busyness and cluttered feel of the houses on the hill. 2 Jun 2009 6:37am @Mike: These natural harbour traditional fishing villages with the building piled up on the hillside are great subjects. I wish I'd had time to rummage through the streets and found some elevated views. This one has a lot more feel in the houses, which illustrates one of Ian's points from yesterday - though this one is a far simpler composition. Ken from United StatesI see you working your way around this location. Love it. My favorite so far. 2 Jun 2009 4:02pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongWhat a classic!
