Bright light on Morecambe Bay

Posted by John Leech (Grange-over-Sands, United Kingdom) on 5 November 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I like the dramatic effect when exposing for the highlights from the low morning sun reflecting off sand banks.

I'm sure most visitors to my pages will be familiar with Ian Bramham's photography Ian Bramham. I've followed his emerging talent since he first bought a DSLR - not that his talent took long to emerge. I'm sure any viewers who have not seen his work will appreciate this link.

Very nice. The different shades of grey here make this a really good photo. The B&W toning and contrast is spot on! The pattern on the highlighted sand against the dark sky. Wonderful shot here sir!
