Live and Let Love

John Leech (Grange-over-Sands, United Kingdom) on 16 May 2014 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

My landscapes are taking a back seat to weddings. The latest wedding was somewhat involved. 2 days, 30 hours photography, 5 hours sleep. A wonderful lively crowd meant there was never a dull moment from the first day which centred on a cave blessing (dress code onesies and wellies) to a traditional church wedding with more twists than a twisty turny thing. This is one of the guests wearing a James Bond onesie. He forgot his Walther, but I had a spare camera with my zoomeroony sporting its tripod mount which looks pretty gun-like when held correctly. While processing the shots it stuck me that the jumping onesies had that fantasy Bond opening sequence look about them - so married the two shots together to.

@LauraS: Thanks Laura, it is nice when ideas like this snap into place, though I do wish we'd staged something more elaborate at the time.
